A swing seat for the window.
A canvas seat slung between two rails, held to the glass by suction-cup straps. It has a lighter, airier look than a solid perch, and it folds flat against the window when you want it out of the way.

The open sides keep the whole window in view, and the seat folds flat when the window needs cleaning. Pair it with a feeder outside the same pane.

Clean the glass
Wipe the glass and cups with warm water and dry both.

Press and test
Press each cup firmly, then test the seat with your hand.

Supervise first use
Stay close for the first few sessions, and re-press the cups now and then.

Will it hold in winter?
Cold stiffens suction cups. Warm them before fitting and re-press them after a cold snap.
Does it fold away?
Yes. The seat folds flat against the glass.
